TENNESSEE EXECUTIVE CHAMBER REPRIEVE
Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Article III, Section 6 of the Constitution of the State of Tennessee, I, Phil Bredesen, Governor of the State of Tennessee, do hereby grant to Philip Ray Workman a reprieve from execution of the sentence of death imposed upon him by the Criminal Court of Shelby County on March 31, 1982, and scheduled to be carried out on September 24, 2003, (Workman v. State, No. M1999-01334-SC-DPE-PD and No. W2002-00300-SC-R11-PD (Tenn. June 2, 2003)). This reprieve shall continue in effect until January 15, 2004.
