WEAKLY’S LESSEE v. LEGRAND.

Superior Court for Law and Equity, Mero District.
May 1808.

Where a grant calls for a tree and a river bank, thence down the river to another tree on the bank, the meanders of the river must be the boundary, and not a straight line. [Acc. Massengill v. Boyles, 4 Hum. 205; Burns v. Greaves, Cooke, 75.]

This was a question of boundary. The grant called for a tree and the river bank; thence down the river to another tree, on the bank of the river.

By the Court.

The meanders of the river must be the boundary, and not a straight line.
