The plea of payment to debt on a bond admits the bond, so that it is not necessary to produce it on trial.

Debt. — Plea, payment.
TRIMBLE, for the plaintiff, did not produce the bond upon trial. The jury found a verdict for the defendant, in consequence of there being no bond produced, and, on returning, they asked the advice of the Court if they were authorized so to do.
Per Curiam.
The plea admits the debt, so that it was unnecessary to produce the bond; upon which they returned, and brought in a verdict for the plaintiff.
